CK Power Public Company Limited, with the CH. KARNCHAN Group, led by Mr. Thanawat Trivisvavet, Managing Director, CK Power Public Company Limited along with Mr Nuttawut Trivisvavet, President of CH. KARNCHAN Public Company Limited, Ms. Walainut Trivisvavet, Managing Director, TTW Public Company Limited and Mr. Alvin Gee, Deputy Managing Director of Bangkok Expressway and metro public company limited have donated 11,000,000 THB to the Faculty of Medicine at Ramathibodi Hospital. The funds are allocated for the purchase of the XPERT 42 (MOZART) 3D mammography machine, aimed at enhancing the efficiency of breast cancer detection, reducing surgery times, and increasing patient throughput. The donation was received by Associate Professor Dr. Chalermpong Chatdokmaiprai, Head of the Department of Surgery, along with Associate Professor Dr. Ronnarat Suvikapakornkul, and Dr. Lakkana Adireklarpwong, both from the Department of Breast and Endocrine Surgery, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University. The handover took place at 1st floor of the Ramathibodi Foundation office.

The Department of Breast and Endocrine Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine, Ramathibodi Hospital, serves as a treatment facility for breast cancer patients and is an educational institution providing training for general surgical residents and those specializing in breast surgery. Currently, there is a significant increase in the number of patients seeking treatment for breast cancer, accompanied by longer waiting times for surgery. Developing rapid, efficient treatment methods that align with current guidelines is crucial for improving treatment effectiveness and efficiency, and meeting the rising patient demand at the hospital. The support from CH. KARNCHAN Group aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically Goal 3, which aims to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages.
