CKPower joins forces with Klangjaturat Art Gallery to advance the second phase of the "Empowering Clean Energy through Thai Art" project in Chaiyaphum, in line with the company's sustainable

The second phase of the project in Chaiyaphum Province is a collaboration between CKPower and the Klangjaturat Art Gallery network. The event was honored by Mr. Anan Nakniyom, Governor of Chaiyaphum Province, who presided over the opening ceremony. The project aims to build knowledge about renewable energy and enhance understanding of natural resource and environmental protection through artistic skills from Thailand's leading network of art teachers. It also promotes clean energy knowledge among youth, teachers, volunteer employees, and communities around the power plants, in accordance with the company's CSR Strategy Framework, covering social, environmental, and economic dimensions.

CKPower has leveraged its organizational capabilities by sending volunteer employees to impart knowledge on clean energy and natural resource conservation. This knowledge is then passed on to teachers nationwide, who integrate it into their teaching to help children and youth understand the importance of energy transition and environmental conservation. The initiative is designed to be sustainable, with the aim that knowledge and enthusiasm for various art forms will be passed down through generations. This aligns with the company's 5-year CSR Strategy Framework (2022-2026) in social and environmental dimensions.

This collaboration involved nationally renowned artists led by Mr. Saman Klangjaturat, a master teacher artist and founder of the Klangjaturat Art Gallery, along with art teachers and artists in the gallery's network. They learned about energy transition and natural resource and environmental conservation, and translated this knowledge into artworks for 90 teachers nationwide and 30 volunteer employees from the CKPower Group. The learning was facilitated through 6 bases: watercolor, acrylic, poster color, drawing, clay modeling, and art crafted from natural materials. Everyone had the opportunity to showcase their work in their own style, enabling teachers to integrate the knowledge with art and create new knowledge to expand and develop teaching curricula. Company volunteers also shared the knowledge with children and youth in the areas surrounding the power plants.

As the next step, CKPower and the Klangjaturat Art Gallery network will organize an art competition for children and youth in each area to promote understanding and awareness of clean energy, while fostering a creative sense of natural resource and environmental conservation through artwork. This aligns with the company's CSR action plan to increase knowledge about renewable energy among 20,000 children and youth, and to enhance knowledge for protecting resources and the environment among 10,000 employees, children, youth, and community members. The goal is to establish a foundation for improving quality of life through the delivery of clean energy and to jointly preserve the environment of communities and society in a sustainable manner.
