CKPower receives the "GOOD PEOPLE: PRESERVE THE WORLD" Honorary Plaque Award for being a sustainable development business organization.
Bangkok, June 21, 2024 - CK Power Public Company Limited awarded the "GOOD PEOPLE: PRESERVE THE WORLD " honorary plaque from Professor Pornpetch Wichitcholchai, President of the Senate. This accolade recognizes and honors CKPower for its excellent principles and practices in driving and raising awareness about the importance of natural resource and environmental conservation for the year 2024. The company has driven its operations towards sustainability through the "C-K-P" strategy, which encompasses key issues in three dimensions: environmental (C – Clean Electricity), social (K – Kind Neighbor), and governance and economic (P – Partnership for Life). The company places a strong emphasis on environmental management, focusing on generating electricity from renewable energy sources, alongside the development of eco-friendly innovations and technologies and utilize resources efficiently in production. The goal is to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions in a tangible and long-term manner by 2050.
The event was organized by the Senate Standing Committee on Religions, Morals, Ethics, Arts and Culture. The recognition was based on the organization’s vision, policies, achievements, and operations that exemplify sustainable social and environmental stewardship. The event took place in Conference Room B1–1, Parliament Building.
